Naturally Durable Hardwood

Heavy to very heavy constructional timbers ranging in density from 800 to 1,120 kg/m3 air dry (or at 15% moisture content). They are naturally durable and can therefore be safely used without preservative treatment. The sapwood of these timbers, however, is not durable.
